Health and nutrition are my passion

I’m a best-selling author and BANT registered nutritionist.

Keris Marsden 10 Years Clinical Experience

I have over 10 years clinical experience working with individuals and groups offering a personalised and evidence-based approach to nutrition and wellbeing.

I co-authored the best-selling recipe books ‘Paleo Primer’ and ‘Paleo Primer Second Helping.’ I have also lectured in post graduate nutrition.

As a trained fitness professional and yoga teacher I also provide guidance around exercise, nutritional support for sports and musculoskeletal heath.

From the start

How my own journey began

I struggled for years with multiple health issues including Irritable Bowel Syndrome, PCOS, acne, amenorrhea and early menopause.

Every medical appointment resulted in a medication and little to no advice about diet, exercise or an acknowledgement that stress was a factor in some of my health complications. 

I was also frustrated that no doctor, specialist or consultant would connect the different parts of me when it was clear my gut issues affected my mood and hormones. My hormones impacted my skin and sleep, the list goes on. 

My mum was then diagnosed with breast cancer and we experienced exactly the same, great oncology treatment but no advice about diet, supplements, exercise or emotional support.  All of which influence health immensely. 

I went on a journey

I found the answers for myself

I began to invest in qualifications that enabled me to study and understand the human body. 

I studied Nutritional Therapy to gain an understanding of the root causes of disease and key factors that can help protect against illness.

I discovered so much valuable information that I wrote my first book in the final year of my studies and launched a healthy lifestyle company called Fitter Food.

I’ve been working in clinical practice ever since, writing more books and running online programmes.

I continue to dedicate hours to researching the latest nutrition science and invest regularly in CPD courses to provide evidence based and highly effective Nutritional Therapy.
