LIVE WORKSHOP
Reflective Parenting
How to balance self-care with supporting children and teen behaviour, including neurodivergent needs
Parenting can feel particularly challenging when you’re supporting children or teenagers with big emotions, behavioural difficulties, or neurodivergent needs, especially when you’re already feeling stretched yourself.
Many parents find themselves juggling:
Ongoing behaviour challenges with children and teens, including neurodivergence
Anxiety, overwhelm, and mental load from day-to-day family life
Feeling emotionally drained, reactive, or unsure how best to respond
Little space for self-care while trying to support everyone else
These are not problems that can be solved with quick fixes or parenting “rules”.
Led by Leonie Drake, an Integrative Psychotherapist (Child, Adolescent & Adult), this workshop offers a reflective, supportive space to explore child and adolescent behaviour, while also considering your own needs and nervous system as a parent.
With the right understanding, guidance, and support, these challenges can be approached differently, with more steadiness, compassion, and confidence for both you and your child.
Saturday 24 January at 10am - 12pm (GMT)
This workshop is free for members of The Mindful Body Method, find out more here.
A recording will be available after the session if you can’t make it live.
