LIVE WORKSHOP
Finding Safety in the Body
Practical nervous system tools you can use in everyday life.
Thursday 26th February - 7:00pm to 8:15pm (GMT)
This live workshop with somatic practitioner Oliver James Jenkin focuses on helping your body shift out of stress and into a felt sense of safety. Rather than trying to think your way into calm, this session works at a body level, using simple, practical nervous system practices to reduce tension and support regulation.
This is an experiential, educational session designed to build understanding and give you accessible tools you can use in everyday life when stress or overwhelm rises.
Together we’ll explore:
• Why the nervous system can stay on alert even when life looks manageable
• How safety is experienced in the body, not created through thinking
• How stress patterns become stored and repeated physically
• Simple somatic practices to help your system stand down
• How to interrupt stress responses in real time
• Practical ways to build a steadier baseline of calm and presence
This workshop is free for members of The Mindful Body Method, find out more here.
A recording will be available after the session if you can’t make it live.
